Screen Recording POV Protocol: Anti-Cheat Compliance for Competitive Esports
Comprehensive technical guidelines for recording device screen POV, enabling touch indicators, logging audio feeds, and complying with referee anti-cheat audits.
Table of Contents
1. When Screen Recording is Mandatory
In verified Game Zone tournaments, screen recording is required for all seeded rosters during Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Grand Finals. Referees may issue random POV requests to any player within 15 minutes of match completion.
Always start your screen recording before stepping onto the spawn island to ensure the entire match duration is captured seamlessly.
2. Enabling System Touch Markers
Touch indicators demonstrate authentic physical finger input on glass. On Android, enable Developer Options and toggle "Show taps" or "Pointer location". On iOS, use the built-in screen recorder without third-party overlays.
3. Capturing In-Game Audio & Voice Comms
Recordings must include internal game sound and teammate voice chat. Muted audio files or recordings that cut off before match end are flagged for referee review and may result in slot forfeiture.
4. File Submission & Disqualification Triggers
If requested, upload the raw MP4 file to cloud storage without editing or re-encoding. Disqualification triggers include: modified APKs, unauthorized emulators, resolution stretchers, or radar script injection.
